Academic part-time position: Visiting scholar of North Carolina University; Expert of the State Council Urban and Rural Planning Terminology Examination Committee; Director of China Architecture Society Urban Design Branch; Member of China Urban Planning Society Youth Work Committee; Deputy Director of the Town Planning Professional Committee of the Tianjin Urban Planning Society; Deputy Director of the Tianjin Youth Work Committee.

Research project: He serves as the subject-level leader of National Key R&D Program of China, presides 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 6 provincial and ministerial research projects. He participates in 1 major national social science fund project and 3 other natural science fund projects.
